Parrots We Breed

Congo African Grey Parrots live in captivity approximately 35 - 60 years. These parrots are renowned for their amazing vocabularies. One of the best known African Grey Parrots was Alex, a parrot taught at the University of Arizona to problem solve at the level of a 3 year old child. With a lot of training, these parrots can truly astonish you with their mental abilities. These birds are amazing creatures, but are definitely recommended for more experienced bird owners due to their size.

senagle parrots these guys are a great option as an introductory parrot they have fair price point and fairly easy to maintain. senagle are excellent pets and can learn to talk they can live 25 to 50 years in captivity. They also can be quite loud so you will need to be prepared for that as well, are also cuddly parrots.

Golden mantel Rosellas these beautiful parrots are all known grasskeets they are magnificent is colour and in there nature,they are excellent pets in the current pet trade and have become more scarcely available these guy are good for large aviary's, and love to be out and handled if they are familiar with their surroundings these beauty's will live 15 to 20 years in captivity.

Lutino Princess of Whales

Parrots are VERY RARE Parrots that are native to Australia. They are very difficult to find in Canada despite their obvious beauty. They are a cousin of the Australian Red Winged King Parrots that we currently have in our aviary, and have a similar disposition to them. Although their talking ability is not as great as the Indian Ringneck, they can mimic noises and whistles very easily. They are birds that are calm and make great pets. Both the male and female of this breed have amazing colours, but they are sexually dimorphic. The male has more prominent blue on his head and rump, longer tail feathers, and a coral beak, but otherwise they are the same. These birds live approximately 15-30 years in captivity. Overall, this bird would be a great pet for someone looking for a parrot that is not super high energy, but is intelligent and beautiful.

Fischer lovebirds are great little birds that can really bond to their owners. Fischer Lovebirds in particular are much less common than peach-faced lovebirds, and they have much more exotic colours than their common cousins. They are a good size of bird, being slightly smaller than a conure. These birds do have a slightly stronger bite than budgies or cockatiels so they can be a bit more of a challenge for a first time bird owner. They are amazing pets if you are able to set boundaries from the beginning, however, so don't completely exclude them as a potential companion. They live 15-20 years in captivity.

Parrotlets are growing very popular as they are great pets and are extremely smart. The talking ability is higher in males than in the females, but both are really good as one on one pets. They live between 10-15 years in captivity and are very good breeders. These little guys are also known as pocket parrots.

Cobalt Linnie's


These great little parrots and quite popular in the current pet trade a th is time due to their sweet nature they are also pretty quite and came make excellent apartments birds, these little guys do have a shorter life that you would think these little guy live in captivity from 8 to 12 years old.

Quaker Parrots also known as "Monk Parakeets" have quickly become one of the most popular domestic parrots due to their strong bond with their owners. They are very talkative, intuitive, and great company for anyone looking for a true companion bird. These parrots are also known for being fairly versatile and willing to accept multiple members of the family, rather than be one person birds. They come in a variety of colours, our pair in particular is going to be a pallid green female and a cinnamon blue male. We are more than excited to welcome them to our aviary this spring!

Cockatiels are wonderful birds with a great amount of character. They are very good at mimicking tunes and any noise you may make around the house. They are very social birds that will love to be a part of the whole family. These birds are also great for beginners as they are smaller than a conure, and only slightly bigger than a budgie. They can be good birds for children as well, provided that there is adult supervision. Overall, they are amazing birds that live 15-20 years.

Indian Ringnecks are birds with amazing vocabularies that can really please a crowd. These birds are one of the biggest parakeets and have the personality to match their size. They love to interact and just be around their people. These fun medium sized birds can bring joy to just about anyone through their outgoing personalities. These birds live approximately 20-30 years in captivity.

Plum Headed Parrots have everything an Asiatic Parrot has to offer but in a much more colorful package. These birds have an amazing talking ability, only outshined by the African Grey Parrot. They are slightly smaller than an Indian Ringneck, averaging at about 13 inches in length. They are dimorphic, meaning that the male has bright purple head plumage and the female has blue-grey head plumage. These Parrots love to be a part of everything their owner is doing, and make great individual companions or family pets. They are very intelligent and will easily charm you with the multitude of tricks they can learn. They can learn anything from saying “Hello” on command to getting a treat out of a puzzle box. There is truly no limit to the entertainment one can receive from one of these amazing parrots. They live between 20 and 30 years in captivity and are definitely worth consideration for anyone looking to add another member to their flock

Parakeets We Breed

Kakarikis are great birds that are very docile in nature and make great family pets. They are very active and will always entertain you with their climbing and swinging. These birds are very quiet and make great apartment birds as well. We currently have 1 pair at the aviary. We have 1 lutino pair

Red rump parakeets are beautiful parakeets that are great starter birds for novice and experienced bird owners. They are native to the grasslands of Australia and have very extravagant colouring. They are a fairly quiet parakeet that make excellent birds for apartments. That being said, they are easily trainable and can learn to mimic some noises and songs. They live around 12-15 years in captivity.

Yellow Turquoisines are a beautiful Australian parakeet normally found in the grasslands. These birds have much more vibrant colours than the normal Turquoisine and as such are much more desirable. They can be quite difficult to find in captivity, however, as they are very difficult to breed and those who are successful in breeding them tend to not sell to the general public. They are amazing parakeets with very quiet and docile personalities. They are a great starter bird that looks much more exotic than your average budgie. Overall, these birds are great companions and should definitely be worth consideration to any bird enthusiast.

Rosy Bourkes are extremely popular parakeets among bird owners as they have very gentle natures and are great as a first bird for children. They rarely bite, and if they do, it is very short lived and limited in intensity. They are very quite and make great apartments birds. These guys live approximately 8-12 years in captivity.

2nd pair are Rosy Bourkes

Diamond Doves are the smallest of the dove family. They are very sweet birds that are great for aviaries as they are very gentle with other birds. They can live approx 7 -12 years in captivity and are very easy to breed. Their popularity continuously fluctuates among bird lovers, making this bird occasionally difficult to come across.

Other Birds We Breed

We sell hatching eggs May - September and we also hatch our own here. We have Tuxedo, White, Silver, Brown, and Splash. These little guys are the size of an apple full grown and are very well situated to aviary floors. Their flying ability is not very good but they can easily jump over 6 feet so they need to be in a space where they wont hurt themselves.
